Transition to Electronic Billing
As part of the Red River Authority of Texas’s ongoing effort to improve efficiency and transition toward more convenient and environmentally responsible electronic delivery methods, the Authority will be implementing fees for customers who choose to continue receiving paper billing for their meter account.
Beginning October 1, 2026, customers who elect to receive paper billing materials will be assessed the following fees:
- Paper Account Summary: $5.00 per summary
- Paper Bill Card: $2.00 per bill card
Customers may choose to have their bill cards and account summaries delivered electronically by email at no charge. Choosing electronic delivery will allow customers to receive their billing information conveniently while avoiding the fees associated with paper materials.
The Authority encourages customers to take advantage of electronic delivery as a more efficient and convenient alternative to paper documents. This transition will also help reduce paper usage and streamline the delivery of billing information.
